Afghanistan Crop Bulletin

LRIMS Portal: Development of Land Resources Information Management System (LRIMS) for Afghanistan is a part of the collaboration for Strengthening Afghanistan Institutions' capacity for monitoring and analyzing of agriculture production systems and development of Land Resources Information Management System (LRIMS) and National Agro-Ecological Zoning (NAEZ) project.  http://afg-portal.geodata.soton.ac.uk/

The LRIMS portal provides access to the modelled data for agro-meteorological and agro-ecological indicators and suitablity for a range of crops under differing climate change scenarios. This collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock and the UN FAO Afghanistan is providing data and information that will support evaluation of agricultural adaptation options.
